It is our great pleasure and honor to invite you to participate in the ”European Forum on Hypertension”, which will take place in Gdansk on May 28–30, 2015. The meeting will be jointly organized by the European Society of Hypertension and the Polish Society of Hypertension.

This forum will provide a unique opportunity to share both clinical and research experience between various countries of Eurasia.

The program will consist of plenary sessions, roundtable discussions and workshops.


Plenary sessions

  1. Novel mechanisms of cardiovascular disease
  2. Recent developments in hypertension diagnostics
  3. Cardiovascular pharmacotherapy: where are we now and where are we going?
  4. Strategies to improve blood pressure control
  5. Special populations: threats and opportunities
  6. Secondary hypertension — what is new ?


Roundtable discussions

  1. Challenges in cardiovascular protection
  2. Should we simplify hypertension guidelines?


Workshops for young investigators

  1. How to create and develop a hypertension center?
  2. How to interpret clinical trials?
  3. How to write an effective abstract?
  4. How to present your findings (focus on oral presentations and posters)?
  5. How to prepare an effective grant application?
